The Olive Grove Hideaway is the largest privately-owned villa in Portugal’s Algarve. The enormous villa is set within 135,000 square feet of secluded countryside and boasts; 11 bedrooms, swimming pool, jacuzzi spa, floodlit tennis court, 6 acres of manicured irrigated lawns, garage space for 10 cars and full-time staff.
CW2 was approached by experienced hoteliers, who bought the property as a farm house ruin back in 2000, to redesign, develop and promote their offering, online and generate more rentals. Firstly, two members of the CW2 team flew out to the Algarve to go and experience the villa in person and update the photography in a way that best sold it to the public. The goal was to get across the sheer size and levels of luxury available when staying at the hideaway. We were also asked to generate new, modern website copy.
Our job was to design and develop a website that would be visually impressive, easy to use and would target three different customer types; corporate, weddings & families. To do this, we developed an architecture which split the website into 3 distinct sections, with each of these sections tailored specifically towards the customer type. The copy and images were all constructed in a way that would appeal to, and excite the target customer.
We wanted to make it easy for users to enquire about staying at the Hideaway without having the hassle of writing a long-winded confusing email, or awkwardly speaking to someone on the phone. We designed the above enquiry form which allows users to select a date, stay duration, group size and retreat type. The user will then be taken through to an auto completed form, needing to only complete their contact details. Once the staff receive the enquiry they have all the information they need to generate a rough basic quote and send over any relevant options/extras, making it much easier on both ends.
Our next steps are to develop a PPC strategy, design digital marketing materials for social media, e-newsletters etc., design and print physical marketing materials such as brochures & printed stationary and undertake market research to find the best places to promote the villa online and generate more enquiries.
On top of this project we have also; designed & developed websites, branding assets & contracted photography for three of the group’s other businesses; The Terrace Restaurant, The H Hotel and Proctor Cars.
