CF Booth are one of the largest privately-owned scrap metal recycling companies in Europe boasting an annual turnover of over £200 million year-on-year. CF Booth work closely with blue chip aerospace companies such as Rolls-Royce. CF Booth contacted us to redevelop their online presence starting with their main company website cfbooth.com.
CF Booth main goals were to increase local walk in & drop business and attract large corporate and public sector companies.
To achieve this, we opted for a modern but easy to use responsive UI which helped both target audiences to find out necessary information as fast as possible and get in touch.
To bring the site up to date and make it visually appealing, especially to blue-chip companies CF Booth continue to target, we contracted new site & product photography and yard overview drone footage.
Our goal, when targeting local business, was to make sure that the layman could figure out what material their scrap is, so they knew where to drop it off at the site, or whether they were eligible for free collection. When targeting the corporate clients, we wanted to capture quality processes and promote the scale of CF Booth’s Rotherham HQ, pushing capabilities, flexibility and scalability.
Whilst developing the website, we built an SEO strategy to make sure we could pick up on any business, especially in the ‘rolling stock’ (rail) segment. Within one week of the new site going live CF Booth were contacted by two of the largest rail franchises (TOCs) in the UK (via the website) and are receiving an average of 20-30 new actionable enquiries each week.
Due to the positive response internally and externally, CW2 got approval to re develop the websites & systems for all 6 CF Booth subsidiaries. As part of the scope for the future, we have begun planning an internal management system for the business, Augmented Reality marketing materials and a private live video streaming portal they can privately share with international clients.
